This is the South Sound, so: a real policy. For sessions, we either move under cover, into the studio, or reschedule to the next open date — your choice, no fee, decided by 10 a.m. on session day. Drizzle usually stays; the photos are better than you'd think. For weddings, I shoot the day you're having. I bring clear umbrellas and I know where the covered light is at most venues within an hour of Tacoma.

The numbers on the investment page are floors, not marketing: 40+ for family sessions, 15 for branding, 400–700+ for weddings depending on collection. I cull duplicates, blinks, and the frames where I missed — you'll never get 2,000 near-identical files as padding.

Yes. Every session and collection includes a print release for personal use — print at any lab you like. I'll always offer my fine-art lab for big wall pieces because the difference at 30×40 is real, but there's no gotcha license and no per-print ransom.

No, and I'll cheerfully explain why: RAWs are the unbaked cake. The edit is half the photograph. What you see in my galleries is what you're hiring — every delivered image gets it.

A five-frame sneak peek within 72 hours, every time. Full galleries: 3 weeks for portrait sessions, 6 weeks for weddings — and the date is written into your contract, not implied. If I'm ever going to miss it, you'll hear from me before the date, not after.

Once, free, with 48 hours' notice — life happens. Inside 48 hours there's a $75 rebooking fee, because that slot almost certainly turned someone else away. Sick kids are exempt; I have a niece, I know how this works.

Sessions: $100 retainer holds the date, balance due the week of the session. Weddings: $800 retainer, then a payment schedule you pick — monthly or thirds. This demo site stops at the confirmation screen; no card is ever charged here.

Travel within 25 miles of the studio is included. Beyond that it's $0.85/mile round-trip, quoted in your proposal before you sign. Peninsula and island weddings: yes, gladly — ferry costs billed at face value.

After booking you get my wardrobe guide, but the short version: textures over logos, cream/rust/sage over neon, and one 'anchor' outfit you already feel great in. You do not need to buy anything. The guide exists to stop the night-before panic, not cause it.

Minis are 20 minutes on one date at one location. Great for: updated family photos, couples, seniors, holiday cards. Wrong for: first sessions with camera-shy toddlers, big blended groups, or anything you want variety from. I'd rather point you at a full session than sell you a rushed mini.

At weddings, Collections II and III include one — both getting-ready rooms, ceremony from two angles, candids while I'm doing portraits. Collection I is honestly fine without one for small days; add a second for $600 if your ceremony seats more than ~100.

Studio 3 is ground level with step-free entry from the Court C side, a wide doorway, and parking directly outside. On-location sessions: tell me what access looks like for your crew and I'll pick spots that work — several favorites are fully paved.
