Made to be lived with.
The Maren is the sofa we built the studio around. A kiln-dried solid oak frame is hand-joined with mortise-and-tenon corners, then wrapped in a high-resilience foam core and a down-and-feather topper that you sink into without losing its shape. The seat sits low and deep, the way a sofa should when it is meant to be lived on rather than perched upon.
We upholster it in a heavyweight wool-blend that softens with use and resists pilling, over webbing that can be re-tensioned years from now. Cushions are reversible and fully removable, so the piece wears evenly and can be re-covered rather than replaced.

Care
Vacuum weekly with an upholstery attachment and rotate the seat cushions monthly so they wear evenly. Spot-clean with a barely-damp cloth and mild soap; blot, never rub. Keep out of direct, prolonged sun to protect the wool tone.
