Why we stock it
The Planar 3 has been the reference for affordable turntables for decades, and the current edition is the best yet. Rega's philosophy is to remove mass and resonance, not add it: a rigid, ultra-light plinth, a double-brace between the arm and bearing, and the superb RB330 tonearm.
It ships with the Elys 2 moving-magnet cartridge and an optically-flat glass platter. Pair it with a Rega phono stage and it sings.
