Usually, yes. We hold same-day sick appointments every weekday morning at both clinics. Call when we open and we'll fit you in. If you're worried outside clinic hours, the nurse advice line answers 24/7 — and for emergencies, always call 911.

If your child has trouble breathing, is unusually unresponsive, has a seizure, or you believe it's an emergency — call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department first.

Routine and sick visits are covered by provincial health insurance — just bring your child's health card. Some paperwork (certain camp or travel forms) carries a small administrative fee, and we post that fee list at reception and in the portal before anything is charged.

Yes — and you can ask us anything. Our clinicians follow the evidence, which is why we recommend routine immunization for every child who can receive it. It's also why we'd rather answer your hardest questions patiently than see a family avoid care. Expect a real conversation, honest answers about risks and benefits, and zero lectures. Kids behind on doses get a catch-up plan, not a guilt trip.

Within two business days of coming home — sooner if the hospital or midwife asks. Weight checks and feeding follow-ups happen as often as your baby needs in the first weeks.

Yes, for concerns that suit a video call — follow-ups, some rashes with good photos, prescription questions, and teen check-ins. Anything that needs hands-on examination gets an in-person slot, and we'll tell you which is which when you book.

From about age twelve, part of every visit is one-on-one with the clinician, and we explain confidentiality to both of you in plain terms at the start. Parents stay closely involved — teens just get room to speak for themselves too.

We support fed babies and functioning parents. Our feeding support covers breastfeeding, pumping, formula, and every combination — with practical help and no ideology.

Yes. Bring forms to any visit and we'll usually complete them on the spot. If a form needs its own appointment or carries an administrative fee, we'll say so up front.
