Practice areasNo. 02
Seven kinds of work, one method.
Every matter starts the same way: the full financial picture, built from documents, before anyone argues about it. These are the areas where that habit matters most.
Group 01
Ending a marriage
Divorces where the estate includes companies, equity, property in several places, or money that is hard to see.
- Division Complex asset division Homes in two states, a family company, brokerage accounts, trusts and a ranch nobody wants to sell. We sort out what is community, what is separate, and what each piece is really worth. Read more
- Valuation Business valuation When one of you owns a company or a professional practice, its value is often the biggest number in the case and the easiest one to argue about. Read more
- Compensation Executive compensation Stock options, restricted stock, deferred bonuses, carried interest and retirement plans that vest on someone else's schedule. Read more
- Discovery Hidden assets When income drops on cue, accounts go quiet, or money moves to a relative, we follow the paper rather than the suspicion. Read more

Agreements
Prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, drafted or reviewed for one partner, with independent advice on both sides.
- Agreements Prenuptial agreements A calm, plain-language agreement drafted months before the wedding, with each of you advised by your own lawyer. Read more
- Agreements Postnuptial and partition agreements Already married? Texas lets spouses partition community property or set new rules for the future, if it is done carefully. Read more

Support
Court-ordered maintenance, contractual alimony, and changing or enforcing an order already in place.
Who we represent No. 03
Either side of the balance sheet.
The owner or earner
You built the company or hold the equity, and you need it valued fairly and kept running while the case goes on. We protect what is genuinely separate and make sure the community's share is measured correctly, not inflated.
The other spouse
You may not have seen the statements in years. We get them, test them, and make sure the estate you are dividing is the real one. Many of our clients are in exactly this position.
We only ever act for one person in a family. If your spouse or partner has already spoken with us, our conflict check will catch it before you share anything, and we will suggest other Texas firms.
Not sure where your case fits?
Book a consultation and describe it in person, after the conflict check. We will tell you which of these areas apply, and which do not.
