Our policies, in plain words.

Membership terms

• Month to month

  No contract and no sign-up fee. Your plan renews on the same date each month.

• Cancel online, any time

  Cancel in your account, at any pay station screen, or by email at least one day before your renewal date. No cancellation fee, and you keep washing until the end of the month you paid for.

• One car per plan, your plate is the pass

  Each plan covers one vehicle. A camera reads your plate at the pay station and the gate opens. One wash per vehicle per day.

• Add family cars for $10 less

  Each extra vehicle on the same account is $10 a month off that plan's price. Up to four extra vehicles.

• Pause up to three months a year

  Away for the winter or the car is in the shop? Pause in your account. No charge while paused.

• New car? Move the plan

  Sold or swapped your car? Change the plate in your account. It is free and takes a minute.

Plans are for personal vehicles. A business with three or more vehicles should use a fleet account. Sharing a plan across plates that aren't on the account isn't allowed; the camera checks the plate on every visit.

Vehicle size

One price for every vehicle that fits. If you aren't sure, ask the attendant before you pay; they would much rather check than guess.

Damage policy

Tunnel damage is rare, but when it happens it should be easy to sort out. Here's exactly how it works.

   Tell us before you leave

   If you think the wash damaged your car, stop in the vacuum area and find an attendant before you drive off. We will look at it with you and pull the tunnel camera footage.

   Or within 24 hours

   Noticed it at home? Email photos to members@glintwash.example within 24 hours. After that we can't tell what happened at the wash and what happened on the road.

   If our equipment caused it, we fix it

   We pay for the repair at a shop we both agree on, or pay you the written estimate. No arguing over small claims.

   What we can't cover

   Damage that was already there, loose or aftermarket parts, cracked glass that spreads, peeling clear coat, items left on the car, and vehicles over our size limits. The pay station asks about size before every wash.

Rain check and re-wash

Refunds and price changes

• We don't refund part of a month you've started, and you can keep washing until it ends.
• If we charge you after you cancelled, we refund the whole charge the same week.
• If we change plan prices, we email you at least 30 days before the new price applies, so you can switch or cancel first.
• Unused single washes can be refunded within 7 days if the tunnel was closed when you came.
• Gift cards and wash books never expire and are not refundable for cash, except where the law says otherwise.

Plate camera and privacy

The pay station camera reads plates only to match members to their plans. Plate reads of non-members are deleted after 30 days. Tunnel camera footage is kept for 30 days for damage reviews, then deleted. We never sell plate or visit data.
