The idea

Why Verte exists

Verte started with a Victorian starburst brooch a client brought in for repair. We could not stop drawing the halo. Two years later it became a pendant and a pair of studs, built around Zambian emeralds cut to show their inner gardens.

Emeralds are never flawless, and we would not want them to be. The jardin inside each stone is how you know it is real, and it is why no two Verte pieces look the same.

Stone: Zambian emerald, step-cut, light oil disclosed
Halo: Round brilliant diamonds, set by hand
Metal: Solid 14k recycled yellow gold

Caring for Verte

Emeralds dislike ultrasonic cleaners and steam. Use warm water and a soft cloth, and let the atelier re-oil them once a year.
