About this piece
Why it's built this way
The trestle earns its place: with the legs set well inboard, all six seats slide in cleanly and the table still stands dead firm. The 30 mm ash top is finished with hardwax oil, so a hot dish or a homework crater can be sanded out at home.
The 'Seats 8' length adds 40 cm and a third stretcher, not just more overhang.
