Orders & shipping
How much is shipping?
Standard shipping is free on orders over $150. Under that, it's a flat $12 anywhere in Canada. Expedited is a flat $24 on any order.
How fast will my order arrive?
Standard takes 3 to 6 business days and expedited takes 1 to 2. Orders placed before 1 p.m. Mountain time leave our Calgary shop the same day.
Do you ship outside Canada?
We ship across Canada and to the United States. Duties on US orders are already in the price, so nothing extra is due at the door.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Yes, until it ships. Reply to your order email or use the contact form and a real person will sort it out, usually within a few hours.
Returns & the 60-day trail test
What is the 60-day trail test?
Use new gear on real trips for up to 60 days. If it hasn't earned its place in your pack, send it back for a full refund.
Does it have to be unused?
No. Used, muddy and slept-in is fine. We clean and check every return, then sell it as 'Second Season' gear at a discount instead of throwing it out.
How do I start a return?
Send us your order number through the contact form. We email a free return label inside Canada and refund you within three business days of it arriving.
Repairs & warranty
How do lifetime repairs work?
Fill in the repair form, and we email a prepaid label. The Calgary bench fixes it and ships it home. Median turnaround is nine days.
What does a repair cost?
Nothing. Parts, labour and shipping both ways are free for as long as the product exists.
I bought it second-hand. Is it still covered?
Yes. The repair promise follows the gear, not the receipt.
What if it can't be fixed?
Then we replace it with the current version or give you store credit, your choice. We keep the broken one to learn from.

Sizing & fit
Which Traverse 55 torso size do I need?
Measure from the bony bump at the base of your neck to the top of your hip bones. 40 to 48 cm is S/M and 46 to 56 cm is M/L. In the overlap, pick M/L if you carry heavy loads.
Do the Scree Runner boots fit true to size?
Yes, with a medium-volume toe box. If you're between sizes, go up, since feet swell on long descents.
Will the Stormline shell fit over a puffy?
It has an athletic cut. If you plan to wear a thick insulated jacket under it, size up one.
Gear advice
Which sleeping bag rating should I choose?
Match the bag's limit rating to the forecast low minus five degrees. Mountain valleys get colder than the town forecast says.
Can someone help me choose?
Yes. Try the gear finder for a full packing list in about ninety seconds, or send us a message. A real person answers within one business day.
Do you sell other brands?
No. We make fourteen pieces, all ours, all weighed on our own scale and all repairable at our own bench.
