02 · Services
Five services that behave like one finance department.
Everything below is sold as a flat monthly price, fixed in writing after a free diagnostic. The ranges are real — they exist because a 40-transaction month and a 900-transaction month are not the same work, and pretending otherwise is how surprise invoices happen.
01 · Service
Monthly bookkeeping
Reconciled accounts, categorized transactions, and a tidy file you never have to think about — done every month, not rescued every April.
Who this is for
- Owner-run businesses tired of doing the books at 11pm
- Companies whose “bookkeeping” is a shoebox and a shared drive
- Anyone switching from an accountant they only hear from once a year
What's included
- Bank, credit-card, and loan reconciliations every month
- Receipt capture with Dext — photograph it and forget it
- Sales-tax (HST/GST) tracking and filings
- A monthly “books closed” note flagging anything odd
- Year-end file handed to the tax side with zero re-work
$495 – $1,200 / mo
Set by transaction volume and number of accounts, fixed in writing after a free look at your file.
02 · Service
Payroll
Everyone paid correctly and on time, source deductions remitted, and year-end slips filed — without you touching a calculator.
Who this is for
- Teams of 1 to 25 employees or contractors
- Owners currently running payroll from a spreadsheet
- Businesses that have ever received a CRA remittance notice
What's included
- Pay runs on your schedule — weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly
- Source deductions calculated and remitted on time
- T4s, T4As, and ROEs prepared and filed
- Onboarding and departure paperwork handled
- Direct integration with your bookkeeping file
$95 – $550 / mo
Scales with headcount and pay frequency. Added to a bookkeeping plan — we don't run payroll on books we can't see.
03 · Service
Year-end & corporate tax
Compilation engagement, corporate return, and owner personal returns — prepared from books we already trust, planned before the year ends.
Who this is for
- Incorporated businesses that want tax planned, not just filed
- Owners whose current accountant files in June and calls it service
- Anyone who has been surprised by a tax bill
What's included
- Compilation engagement (Notice to Reader successor) financial statements
- T2 corporate return, prepared and filed
- A pre-year-end planning call — while there's still time to act
- Owner T1 personal returns (included on Advisor plans and up)
- CRA correspondence handled — reviews, notices, and letters
$240 – $500 / mo
Billed evenly inside your plan rather than as a lump in spring. Equivalent standalone year-ends start around $2,900.
04 · Service
Advisory
A monthly management report in plain language, a forecast that actually gets updated, and a standing call with a CPA who knows your numbers.
Who this is for
- Owners making hire / buy / expand decisions on gut feel
- Businesses between $500k and $3M that have outgrown “just the books”
- Anyone who wants a second brain on margin, pricing, and owner pay
What's included
- Monthly close with a management report you can read in five minutes
- Rolling 12-month cash-flow forecast, updated monthly
- Quarterly deep-dive: margins, pricing, and job/service-line profitability
- Owner-pay planning — the salary-vs-dividend question, answered annually
- A standing monthly call. Bring any question; that's the point
$600 – $1,100 / mo
Added on top of bookkeeping and tax — advisory without clean books is guesswork, so we don't sell it separately.
05 · Service
Fractional CFO
Senior finance leadership at a fraction of a hire — budgets, bank and board packages, and someone in the room for the big decisions.
Who this is for
- Businesses past ~$2M that need finance leadership, not another report
- Owners raising debt or negotiating with a bank
- Companies planning a sale, succession, or major expansion
What's included
- Annual budget built with your team, tracked monthly
- 13-week cash-flow model for tight or fast-moving periods
- Bank, board, and investor reporting packages
- Pricing, margin, and capacity analysis before major decisions
- Twice-monthly working sessions, plus availability between them
$3,200 – $5,500 / mo
Scoped per engagement after a diagnostic. Compare against $180k+ for the full-time hire it replaces.
07 · How it fits together
Bookkeeping is the foundation. Everything else stands on it.
We don't sell payroll on books we can't see, and we don't sell advice on numbers we don't trust. That's why services stack in order — books first, then payroll and tax, then advisory and CFO work. The packages are simply the honest bundles of that stack, and the two-minute quiz tells you which rung you're on.
99 · Next step
Start with the number, not a sales call.
Two minutes of honest questions gets you a package recommendation with a real monthly range — including “you might not need us yet.” Or skip straight to a consultation.
