Sending us your papers

You're trusting us with your Social Security number and your bank details. Here's exactly how they travel and where they stay.

    Secure upload

After you book, we text or email you a link to our client portal. Files are encrypted when they're sent and while they're stored. Photos from your phone are fine if they're readable.

  • 2

    Please don't email your SSN

Regular email isn't private enough for Social Security numbers, bank details or ID photos. Use the portal, bring the papers, or drop them off in person.

    Drop-off envelope

At any office, put your papers in one of our envelopes. We seal it, write a receipt and log it in front of you. Originals come back at pickup.

    How we keep it safe

We keep a written data security plan, as the IRS expects of every tax office. We check your ID before we release a return, and we keep copies only as long as the rules require.

General information, not tax advice. Your situation decides what applies to you; a preparer will go over it with you. Not every form applies to every household, and some returns need papers not listed here; your preparer will tell you if anything else is needed.

Got most of it? Book a time.

Book a time at any of our three offices or on video. The fee is set before we start, and nothing comes out of your refund.
