What it is

In plain words.

Invisalign moves teeth with a series of clear trays you change every week or two. For cosmetic cases the goal is often simple: straighten the front teeth so they look even, or line them up so veneers need less reshaping.

The honest part

Aligners only work when you wear them 20 to 22 hours a day. Results stay only if you wear a retainer afterwards, at night, for the long term. Complex bite problems are best treated by an orthodontist, and we refer when that is the right call.

Before

After

Illustration, not a patient: a crowded lateral tooth, then lined up. Real cases, photographed the same way every time, are shown at your consult.

Is it right for you?

A good fit, and when it isn't.

Usually a good fit for

  • Crowded or overlapping front teeth
  • Small to medium gaps
  • Lining teeth up before veneers to save enamel

Think twice, or talk to us first, if

  • You can't wear trays 20 or more hours a day
  • Big bite problems or jaw pain. We refer to an orthodontist.
  • Children and young teens. An orthodontist is the right first stop.

How it works

Visit by visit.

A check every 6 to 10 weeks, for 4 to 18 months. Times are typical; your plan lists your own dates.

  1. Visit 1

    Consult and scan

We check whether aligners suit your teeth and bite, then take a 3D scan. No impressions goo.

  2. About 2 weeks

    Plan preview

You see the planned tooth movement on screen, stage by stage, with the number of trays and an honest time range.

  3. Start

    First trays

We place small tooth-coloured attachments that help the trays grip, fit your first set and show you how to care for them.

  4. Every 6 to 10 weeks

    Check-ins

Quick visits, some by video, to check progress and hand over your next trays.

  5. Finish

    Retainers

Clear retainers at night keep teeth where they ended up. This part is for the long term.

What it costs

$3,200 to $8,500 per treatment.

How long it lasts

Honestly: holds with nightly retainers.

Teeth stay where they ended up as long as you wear retainers. Without them, they drift back.

Helping it last

  • Wear trays 20 to 22 hours a day
  • Brush before putting trays back in
  • Only water while trays are in
  • Retainers at night, long term

Porcelain veneers

10 to 15+ years

Teeth whitening

6 months to 3 years

Cosmetic bonding

4 to 8 years

Invisalign clear aligners

Porcelain crowns

10 to 15+ years

Typical ranges for healthy mouths with good care, not promises. Grinding, smoking, diet and cleanings all move these numbers. Smile makeovers combine several treatments, so each part keeps its own range.

Questions

About Invisalign.

More questions
Do you treat bite problems?

We treat mild crowding and spacing for cosmetic reasons. For bite problems, jaw issues or complex cases, we refer you to an orthodontist we trust.

How soon will I see a difference?

Often within a few months for front teeth. Your plan preview shows the expected stages, but teeth move at their own pace and wear time matters most.

Are attachments noticeable?

They are small tooth-coloured bumps that help the trays grip. Most people find others don't notice them.
