Smile gallery
How our smile gallery works.
Our real gallery lives on a studio tablet, because patients agreed to show their smiles to other patients, not to the whole internet. This page explains what's in it, and uses drawings instead of photos.
Every image on this page is an illustration. No photo anywhere on this website is a patient result, and stock photos of smiles are never shown as our work.
The photo standard
Every case, photographed the same way.
- Same room, same light. A daylight-balanced photo corner, the same camera settings, the same distance.
- Before, trial smile, after. The trial smile photo sits beside the final result, so you can see how close the plan came.
- Then again at 1 year. And at 3 and 5 years for patients who come back for reviews.
- No retouching. We correct camera colour balance only. Teeth are never smoothed or brightened.
- 01 Full face, smiling
- 02 Full face, relaxed
- 03 Smile, front
- 04 Smile, left and right
- 05 Teeth close-up
What a case page shows
Common concerns, drawn.
Each card shows the kind of change a treatment makes, as a drawing, and what the matching page in our real gallery records.

Comparing practices?
How to judge any dentist's gallery.
Including ours. Most people compare a few practices before choosing. These eight checks help you tell real proof from good marketing.
-
01 Same light and angle
Before and after photos should look like they were taken in the same room, from the same spot. Different lighting can fake a whitening result.
-
02 The whole face, not just teeth
Close-ups hide how a smile fits a face. Ask for full-face photos too.
-
03 More than the best five
A real gallery has ordinary cases, not only showpieces. Ask how many cases they've done of the kind you want.
-
04 Follow-ups years later
Day-one photos show the fit. Photos at 3 or 5 years show how the work holds up.
-
05 The dentist who did it
Make sure the cases were done by the dentist who would treat you, at that practice.
-
06 Details, not just pictures
How many teeth, what material, how many visits, whether aligners came first.
-
07 Unretouched, in writing
Ask whether photos are edited. Colour correction for the camera is normal; smoothing teeth is not.
-
08 Consent on file
Patients should have agreed to share. A practice that respects that will respect your privacy too.
Your photos stay yours, always.
We photograph every case for your records and your plan. Adding your smile to the gallery is a separate yes, on a separate form, and you can take it back any time. Saying no changes nothing about your care or your price.
