Mara apprenticed on commercial sites, spent six years wiring hospitals, and started Amp & Anchor in 2013 because she was tired of watching homeowners get quoted by fear. She still runs the load calculation on every EV charger quote herself, and she has never once used the phrase 'while we're in there' to pad an invoice.

Dev leads the panel and rewire crews. He's opened more Hamilton century-home walls than anyone on the team and keeps a photo archive of the wildest amateur splices he's rescued — ask him for the toaster-cord-in-the-attic story.

Apprentice Electrician · 4th-year 309A apprentice (fictional)
Priya came to the trade from industrial design, which is why the lighting layouts got noticeably better in 2024. She runs the photo documentation on every renovation rough-in — if it's behind your drywall, Priya has a picture of it.

Office & Scheduling · The calm voice on the phone
Sam books the visits, files the ESA paperwork, and sends the quotes — usually within two business days of the site visit. If your appointment window ever moves, it's Sam who calls you before you notice, not after.

$5M commercial liability. Every crew member is a licensed 309A electrician or a registered apprentice working under one. Ask any real contractor for exactly this paperwork — good ones enjoy showing it.

Outside the area? Ask anyway — for rewires and panel projects we range a little further, scheduled in batches so you're not paying for our windshield time.
