Reviews
What neighbors say, including the four-star ones.
We ask every customer for a review once, after their first plan visit or their first real outage. We post the ones that mention a wait or a hiccup too, along with what we changed.

Ruth walked through the house with a list and asked what we actually needed. They talked us out of the bigger unit and put a load module on the dryer instead. The quote matched the bill to the dollar.

Our generator showed a red light and the company that installed it had closed. Kofi found a dead battery and a loose plug wire, showed me both, and had it running the same visit.

Good install and a tidy crew. It took longer than we hoped because the propane company was slow setting the tank, which Keeplight warned us about. Four stars only because of the wait.
Carol and Jim W., Canterbury 18 kW on propane
Reply from Keeplight
Thank you both. The tank set took three weeks longer than usual this fall. We now ask suppliers for a date before we book install day, so the gap is visible on the quote.

I was running cords through the basement window. They put in an inlet and an interlock for a reasonable price and spent twenty minutes showing me how to use it. Also told me to move the generator further from the house.

The report after each visit is clear. Battery readings, what they changed, what to watch. I never have to remember when it is due.

Big house, two panels, all-electric. They drew the plan on paper at the kitchen table and explained why two switches made sense. Inspection passed the first time.

Old switch was buzzing. New one went in quickly. The meter pull had to be rescheduled once by the utility, so we had two days of planning around it. Work itself was excellent.
Becky R., Dunbarton Transfer switch replacement
Reply from Keeplight
Thanks Becky. Meter pulls are on the utility's calendar, not ours, but we should have flagged the chance of a reschedule more clearly. We have added it to our install day notes.

We run a small bakery with two walk-in coolers. They listed what had to stay on, sized for that, and did the hookup on a Sunday so we did not lose a day.
