Manifest Moving Co. Your move, inventoried · Columbus OH

the roster · est. 2016

Twenty-two movers, zero day labor

Manifest started in 2016 with one truck and a clipboard inventory system Maya still runs (now with fewer paper cuts). Ray drove interstate lanes for a national van line for eleven years and wanted the paperwork to be honest. That's the whole origin story.

The people who show up

Ray Delgado

Co-owner · long-distance crew chief

Eleven years driving interstate lanes for a national van line before deciding the paperwork could be honest. Still takes the Denver run himself most months.

15 years moving

Maya Okafor-Reid

Co-owner · operations & dispatch

Built the inventory system on a clipboard in year one; it now runs the whole company. If your arrival window text arrives at 7:02 pm sharp, that's Maya.

10 years moving

Dre Whitfield

Crew chief, Truck 2

The stairwell specialist — walk-ups, spiral cases, and the piano board. Trains every new hire on furniture wrap for their first month.

8 years moving

Sarah Kowalczyk

Crew chief, Truck 4

Runs the packing teams. Can case a kitchen in ninety seconds and tell you the box count within five.

7 years moving

Ben Tran

Warehouse & vault manager

Every vault seal number, every location tag, every climate log — Ben's ledger. Nothing enters or leaves the warehouse without his signature.

6 years moving

Keisha Bell

Move coordinator

Your first phone call and your last invoice question. Keisha does every video survey walkthrough and writes the estimates the crews sign against.

4 years moving

Behind them: sixteen more movers on the same W-2 roster, background-checked, trained for a month on wrap and stairs before they touch a customer's furniture solo.

the refusals

Things we don't do, on purpose

Most moving-industry horror stories trace back to one of these five practices. Refusing them costs us some jobs; it's why the reviews read the way they do.

  • No brokered loads — if our truck can't take it, we say so instead of selling your move to a stranger
  • No phone-only 'binding' quotes for big or interstate moves — that's a guess wearing a suit
  • No day labor — every mover is our W-2 employee, on our insurance
  • No hostage tactics — your invoice can never exceed the written ceiling you signed
  • No junk fees — fuel, blankets, wrap, dollies, and tape for wrap are in the rate

next step

Get a range, not a runaround

Four questions, the arithmetic in the open, and a written ceiling before any truck is booked. Big or interstate move? We'll say 'survey first' — and tell you exactly why.
