Client reviews

Sample reviews written for this demo site.

"I was denied twice and ready to give up. Daniel called me back the same afternoon and explained the hearing step like I was a person, not a file number."

Example outcomes

Please read: these are illustrations written for this sample site, not real cases. Every claim depends on its own facts, records and decision maker. Past results do not guarantee or predict a similar outcome, and only Social Security decides claims.

  • Example outcome · Hearing

Approved at a hearing after two denials

Former warehouse worker, 56, back and knee conditions

    The situation
Denied at application and at reconsideration. The file had little about how long he could stand or walk.
    What we did
We added an updated MRI and a statement from his treating doctor about standing limits, then questioned the vocational expert about cane use.
    How it ended
The judge found him disabled, with an onset date a few months later than he first claimed.

    Approved

  • Example outcome · Reconsideration

    Approved at reconsideration

Former home health aide, 49, lupus and depression

    The situation
Her first application left out her rheumatologist and her counselor.
    What we did
We requested the missing records and therapy notes and filed the appeal well inside the 60 days.
    How it ended
Approved at reconsideration, without a hearing.

    Approved

  • Example outcome · Hearing and Appeals Council

    Denied at the hearing

Former office manager, 44, chronic migraines

    The situation
Two denials before the hearing. Her treatment had gaps when she lost insurance.
    What we did
We submitted a headache diary and neurologist records, and asked the Appeals Council to review the judge's decision.
    How it ended
The judge found she could do some desk work. The Appeals Council declined review. We explained her options, including a new application, and she owed no fee.

    Denied

  • Example outcome · Hearing

    Approved from a later date

Former roofer, 52, COPD and a heart condition

    The situation
He stopped working three years before his hearing.
    What we did
We built the record around breathing tests and his cardiologist's notes.
    How it ended
Approved, but from a later onset date than requested, so back pay covered fewer months than he hoped.

    Partly approved

  • Example outcome · Application

Child's SSI approved on the first application

Parent of an 8-year-old with autism

    The situation
The family did not know school records counted as evidence.
    What we did
We gathered school plans and teacher questionnaires along with the medical records.
    How it ended
    Approved at the application stage.

    Approved

  • Example outcome · Continuing disability review

    Benefits continued after a review

    SSDI recipient, 61, heart failure

    The situation
A notice said his benefits would stop. He had missed two cardiology visits after moving.
    What we did
We appealed within 10 days, asked that benefits continue, and got his new cardiologist's records in.
    How it ended
A hearing officer found he was still disabled. Benefits continued without a gap.

    Approved

  • Example outcome · First call

    We advised waiting to apply

Retail worker, 38, after back surgery

    The situation
She was still working full time and earning above Social Security's limit.
    What we did
We explained the earnings rule and what to watch for if her hours dropped.
    How it ended
No claim was filed. She knows when to call back.

    Advice only, no claim filed
