FAQ

Straight answers.

The questions we hear most, answered the way we would answer them in your driveway.

Mobile or studio

What can you do at my home, and what needs the studio?

Washes, Express and Full Details, interiors, headlights, and memberships all travel. Paint correction, ceramic coatings, and film stay in the studio. They need clean air, steady light, and shade to cure, and a driveway in July cannot promise any of that.

Do I need to give you water or power?

No. Each van carries a water tank, a generator, and a canopy. The final rinse runs through a deionized filter, so we do not leave hard-water spots behind.

How far does the mobile service go?

Anywhere within about 20 miles of Old Town Scottsdale. That covers Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Tempe, Arcadia, Fountain Hills, and North Phoenix. Farther out? Call us and we will see if a route lines up.

What happens if a monsoon storm hits?

We move your visit at no charge. Dust and rain undo a fresh detail in minutes, so we would rather come back on a clear day.

Coatings and correction

Coating or film: which one do I need?

A coating makes paint slick, glossy, and easy to clean. Film is a physical layer that stops rock chips. Many owners put film on the front of the car and a coating over everything.

Why do you correct the paint before coating?

A coating seals in what is underneath. If swirls are there on coating day, they stay for years. At least a one-step correction makes sure what gets locked in is worth keeping.

What are the readings on my job card?

Paint depth, measured in microns, tells us how much clear coat you have. Gloss, in gloss units (GU), shows how much light the paint reflects. We take both before and after, in the same spots.

Booking and pricing

Why are prices shown as "from"?

Size and condition change the time a job takes. Prices are starting points for a vehicle in normal condition. Heavy pet hair, sap, overspray, or neglected paint can add time, and we tell you before we start.

Do you take a deposit?

Only for coatings and film, which hold a studio bay for days. That deposit is $100 and comes off your final bill.

How should I prep my car?

Take out personal items and car seats if you can. For mobile visits, leave us room to walk around the car. That is it.

How do I pay?

Card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay when the job is done. Memberships bill monthly to a card on file. Fleets get one invoice a month.
