Paint protection film
Clear, self-healing film that takes the rock chips so your paint does not. Built for freeway miles on the 101 and the 202.
How we do it
Paint protection film is a clear urethane layer, about 8 mils thick, cut to fit each panel. It absorbs rock chips, sand, and light scuffs. Fine swirls in the film fade with heat, and in Arizona the sun does that for free.
We install it in the studio, where dust stays out and the film can set before it sees the road. Most people protect the front end, where nearly all chips happen. Some protect the whole car.
Roughly two sheets of printer paper, and close to invisible.

Straight talk
Film is close to invisible, not fully invisible. Up close, you may see an edge line on some panels. We wrap edges where the panel allows and tell you ahead of time which ones will show a line.
Questions we hear
Can you coat over the film?
Yes, and many owners do. A coating on top makes the film slick and easier to wash.
Will it turn yellow?
Older films did. Current films resist yellowing much better. Keep it clean and out of brush washes and it should stay clear for years.
