1 reviewA walnut bed with a headboard you can put things in: two sliding compartments, no nightstand required.
Made to order. It leaves the workshop in 6 to 8 weeks, then ships by two-person freight.
About this piece
The Aldous borrows a mid-century idea and finishes it properly: a deep headboard with two sliding-door compartments for books, glasses, and the phone you're trying to read less. The ledge between them holds a lamp.
The rail-and-slat system is rated for any mattress, no box spring needed, and assembles with one included tool.

I bought it for the compartments and I use them every night: glasses, a book, and the charger cable runs out the back. Assembly took the two of us about an hour, a little longer than the 45 minutes listed, but nothing was hard.
