1 reviewA low white-oak platform bed with a plank headboard. It is the quietest piece we make.
Made to order. It leaves the workshop in 4 to 6 weeks, then ships by two-person freight.
About this piece
The Fjeld sits 30 cm off the floor and keeps everything else out of the way: no footboard, a plain plank headboard, and joinery you only notice when you look for it. In a small room it makes the ceiling feel higher.
Solid white-oak rails; the slats are flexible birch ply, which adds a little give under any mattress.

Our bedroom is under three metres wide. With no footboard and a low platform, the room looks open for the first time. The birch slats have a little give, which our older mattress needed.
