The Scree Runner splits the difference the industry pretends doesn't exist: trail-runner comfort out of the box, boot-grade support when the trail turns to talus. A nylon shank under the midfoot takes the sting out of sharp rock; the moulded heel cup ends heel-lift blisters before they start.

Full-grain leather uppers are sealed with a waterproof-breathable bootie, and the outsole runs 5 mm multidirectional lugs with a dedicated braking zone at the heel — the part you notice on the descent, which is where hikes are actually hard.

Elise N. · Centennial Ridge, AB

  • Rated 5 out of 5 stars.

“Five days of bog and boulder fields. Feet dry the whole way. The heel braking zone saved my knees on the descent to Western Brook.”
