The Stormline is a proper three-layer shell: 20,000 mm waterproof, 20,000 g/m² breathable, every seam taped, nothing about it 'water-resistant'. The hood is helmet-compatible and cinches down to follow your head when you check the trail behind you.

We sized the pit zips long and put garages on the zips so you can run them one-handed in gloves. At 310 grams it disappears into a daypack lid, which is exactly where it should live from April to November.

Built for: Day hiking, Backpacking, Winter & shoulder

  • Rated 5 out of 5 stars.

“Four hours of relentless coast rain. Dry underneath, and the pit zips kept me from stewing on the climb.”

“Handled Newfoundland sideways rain, which is the only review that matters. Runs slightly slim over a puffy — size up if you layer heavy.”
