If your question is not here, call Marco Ruiz at (608) 555-0143. He answers most of them every day.

Openings and the waitlist

Do you have openings right now?

It depends on the room. Toddler and preschool spots open most often in August and January. Infant spots open least often. Call us or join the free waitlist, and we will tell you honestly where things stand for your child's age.

Does it cost anything to join the waitlist?

No. Joining is free and does not commit you to anything. You pay the $125 registration fee only when you accept a spot.

How early should we join?

For infant care, as soon as you have a due date. For other rooms, three to six months before you need care is usually enough.

Can we start on a specific date, like my first day back at work?

Tell us the date on the form. When a spot opens we can often hold it for up to two weeks so it lines up with your return.

Tuition and payments

What does tuition include?

Care, breakfast, lunch, two snacks, supplies, outings and the parent app. Families bring diapers, wipes and baby milk or formula.

Why is tuition a range?

The lower number is our core day (8:00 to 5:00). The higher number is our extended day (6:45 to 6:00). You pick the one you need. For before and after school, the range runs from 3 to 5 days a week.

Do you accept child care assistance?

Yes. We accept state child care assistance. The program decides eligibility and your family share, and we help with the paperwork that comes from us.

Do you charge for holidays or sick days?

Tuition is the same each month, including holidays and sick days. In return, families get one tuition-free vacation week each year after 12 months.

Daily life

What are your hours?

Monday to Friday, 6:45 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. We close for nine public holidays and two staff training days, all on the calendar we send each August.

How will I know how my child's day went?

Through the parent app: meals, naps, diapers or potty, photos and notes from the teacher. And a quick chat at pickup.

Do children go outside every day?

Yes, unless the weather is unsafe. Children over 18 months go out twice most days, so please send outdoor clothes.

How do you handle discipline?

We do not use punishment or time-outs. Teachers stay close, name the feeling, set a clear limit and help the child try again.

Health and safety

What happens if my child gets sick at the center?

We call you and keep your child comfortable in a quiet spot with a teacher until pickup. Our sick policy is in the family handbook.

Are you licensed?

Yes. We are a licensed group child care center, inspected by the state. Our latest inspection report is at the front desk, and you are welcome to read it.

Who can pick up my child?

Only adults on your pickup list. We check photo ID the first time we meet them, and every time if you ask us to.

How do you handle food allergies?

We serve no peanuts or tree nuts. Each child with an allergy has a plan posted in their room and in the kitchen.

Still have a question?

Ask it on a tour, by phone or by email. We would rather you ask than guess.
