4.6 stars — kept honest

These ten reviews are the fictional demo set — including the three- and four-star ones, because a wall of perfect fives is its own red flag.

“The progress notes sold me”

After every single drive I got a written note — what they practiced, what was shaky, what to work on in the driveway hours. My daughter passed first try, but honestly I'd have left five stars just for the communication.

Rachel T. — Parent of a Teen Complete student

“Nobody made me feel behind”

Elena started me in an empty lot and had me merging onto 315 by lesson seven. At the mid-pack review they told me I'd likely only need nine of my ten lessons — then refunded the tenth without me asking. That's the review, really.

Dev P. — Adult 10-pack, first-time driver at 31

“Dana understands scared drivers”

I hadn't driven in three years after a rear-ending. Dana never once said 'just relax.' We sat in a parked car for twenty minutes of the first session and she treated that as progress, because it was.

Monica S. — Confidence block, returning after a crash

“Worth every dollar on test morning”

Warm-up hour, then the same car for the test, instructor calm as a lake the whole time. Passed first attempt. My cousin used her own car with a check-engine light and got turned away at the station — get the package.

Jordan K. — Road-test day package

“Great teaching, book early”

The instruction was excellent and the extra four hours were absolutely worth it. One star off because Saturday slots go fast — we had to take Tuesday afternoons for a month. They warn you about this, to be fair. They should still hire another instructor.

Amara O. — Parent of a Teen Complete Plus student

“Honest without being condescending”

My kids wanted 'someone to check on Dad.' I expected an ambush. Instead I got 90 minutes on my normal routes and a written note that said my driving was fine but my night vision deserved a chat with my eye doctor. That's exactly right, and I needed to hear it from a stranger.

Bill H. — Mature driver check-in, age 74

“They knew exactly what transfers”

Twelve years of driving in Jordan, but roundabouts-on-the-right and four-way stops were new. Tomasz built the six lessons around only the gaps. No padding, no 'let's start from the basics' insult.

Fatima A. — Adult 6-pack, license conversion

“Learned stick in three lessons”

Marcus is a great teacher and the +$15 manual surcharge is fair. Four stars only because there's one manual car, so scheduling took some patience. If you want stick, book two weeks out.

Chris D. — Manual add-on, Civic 6-speed

“The mock test was harder than the real one”

Sam scored my mock on the state sheet and failed me on maneuverability — brutal but correct. We drilled cones for half an hour, I rebooked my BMV slot a week later, and the real test felt easy by comparison.

Lauren M. — Pre-test tune-up

“Good drives, admin hiccup”

The lessons themselves were great and my son's instructor was patient. But the joint state filing with our online classroom provider took two extra weeks and a few phone calls to sort out. Greenlight owned the mistake and comped nothing — an apology and a fixed file, which is fine, but three stars is what it was.

Greg W. — Teen in-car 8 (classroom done elsewhere)
