Our crew
Real people, paid well, in it for the long haul
The single biggest difference between Tidy House and the alternatives is how we treat our crew. Better pay + benefits = lower turnover = same crew at your home, every visit.

How we’re different
The crew experience
Above-market wages
$22+/hr starting. Tenure raises automatic. Cleaners shouldn’t be paid at minimum wage.
Real benefits
Health, dental, vision after 60 days. Paid time off. 401(k) with match.
Stable schedule
Predictable, posted 2 weeks ahead. We don’t pile on "surge" hours.
Tools provided
We provide everything — vacuums, mops, products, vehicles. Crew brings their hands and care.
Crews not contractors
All cleaners are W-2 employees, not contractors. We pay payroll taxes; we provide PPE; we’re responsible.
Bilingual welcoming
Full Spanish-speaking support team + bilingual managers + Spanish materials. We hire across language.
Trust + safety
Screening + bonding
Background checks
Every cleaner background-checked through Sterling. Re-checked annually.
Drug tests
Pre-hire + random testing for crew members.
Bonded
$50K bond per cleaner. Covers theft + property damage.
$2M general liability
Comprehensive insurance covers your home + property.
Workers’ comp
Full WC on every employee. If someone is injured at your home, it’s our responsibility — never yours.
Why this matters
Most cleaning companies use independent contractors to avoid payroll tax + benefits. The problem: contractors aren’t employees, so they’re not covered under the company’s insurance, workers’ comp, or supervisory training. If one is injured at your home, you can be liable. If something goes missing, the company can decline responsibility.
We use only W-2 employees. It costs us more. But it’s the only honest way to run a cleaning service that you should trust in your home.
