How we handle it

An online filing site can file your paperwork for a few hundred dollars. What it can't do is ask the questions that matter later: who owns what, who decides, what happens if a partner leaves, and how your CPA wants the company taxed.

We form LLCs and corporations for Treasure Valley owners, write the operating agreement or bylaws for your business (not a template), and hand you a compliance calendar so the annual report never sneaks up on you.

Call us when

  • You're starting a business and want it set up right the first time
  • You formed an LLC online and never got an operating agreement
  • Your CPA suggested an S corp tax election and you want the legal side done
  • You're opening a second location or a new line and wonder if it needs its own company
  • You got a letter about a missed annual report

What's included, and what it costs

Always included

  • A 30-minute entity call, with your CPA on the line if you like
  • State filing prepared and filed by us
  • Operating agreement or bylaws written for your business
  • EIN and registered agent set up
  • A compliance calendar with reminders for every yearly filing
  • A one-page plain-English summary of what you own and owe

Example fees

Examples, not quotes
  • Single-member LLC Filing, operating agreement, EIN, compliance calendar $750 to $1,200
  • Multi-member LLC Custom operating agreement with buy-sell terms $1,800 to $3,500
  • Corporation Bylaws, share issuance, first board consent $1,500 to $2,800
  • LLC clean-up Missing operating agreement, records, ownership fixes $600 to $1,400

Example fees for typical Treasure Valley businesses. State filing fees are passed through at cost. Your exact fee depends on the number of owners and whether investors are involved, and we confirm it in writing before we start.

Two things owners ask us about

Read the guides
  • Separate the money on day one

Open a business bank account as soon as the company exists. Mixing personal and business money is one of the most common ways owners weaken the protection an LLC gives them.

  • Put the deal in writing while everyone agrees

Ownership splits, who decides what, and what happens if someone leaves are easy to agree on at the start and hard to agree on later.

Formation questions

Still wondering? See every FAQ or call (208) 555-0164.

Do I really need a lawyer to form an LLC?

Not always. A one-person business with no partners, no investors and simple plans can file on its own. Once there are two owners, outside money, a lease or real risk, the operating agreement is where a lawyer earns the fee.

Should I be an LLC or an S corp?

An S corp is a tax election, not a separate kind of company. Many LLCs elect it later when profits grow. We set up the legal side and work with your CPA on the timing of the tax side.

How long does formation take?

We file within two business days of your sign-off. How fast the state processes it varies, and we tell you the current wait when we quote.
