#00700PRICING + PAYMENT
READY · 5PM4 ANSWERS

PRICING.

Posted on the wall, on the receipt, on the website — same numbers everywhere.

  • Q · 01

Are your prices on the website current?

Yes. We update the rate cards within 24 hours of any price change. The receipt always matches the wall and the site; if there's ever a discrepancy, we honor the lowest of the three.

  • Q · 02

Do you take cards / Apple Pay / Venmo / cash?

All of the above + check (with ID) and Quickline charge accounts (5% off, monthly billing, 12-month tenure required). Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Tap-to-Pay all work at the counter.

  • Q · 03

Is there a same-day rush fee?

No. Drop by 9 am, ready 5 pm — at the standard price. We don't believe in tax-on-time. The tradeoff is we may decline same-day for items requiring multi-step process (like leather).

  • Q · 04

Do you do contractor / corporate accounts?

Yes — 5% off for tenured accounts, net-30 billing. 12-month customer history required to qualify. Email helen@quickline-cleaners.com to set one up.

#00701TURNAROUND + SCHEDULING
READY · 5PM4 ANSWERS

TURNAROUND.

Same-day standard. Specialty items quoted on intake.

  • Q · 01

Same-day cutoff is exactly 9 am?

Yes — drops in by 9 am go on the morning belt; ready by 5 pm. Drops 9:01 — 11 am go same-day if we have capacity (we usually do); after 11 am is next-day. After 5 pm goes next-day automatically.

  • Q · 02

Can I pick up after 5 pm?

Yes — counter is open until 7 pm Mon — Fri and 5 pm Saturday. Pick-up after-hours via after-hours dropbox: ticket says READY · LOCKER 04 (or whichever); QR-coded combination texted to you.

  • Q · 03

How does the after-hours dropbox work?

West side of building, accessible 24/7. Scan the QR code on the door, write your name + phone on the included tag, drop the bag inside. We process Monday morning + text you the ticket # within 2 hours of opening.

  • Q · 04

Can I track my order online?

Yes — every ticket has a code we text you. Visit /track and paste the code (or use the URL we text directly) for live status: DRAFT / IN PRESS / ON RACK / READY / PICKED UP.

#00702PICKUP + DELIVERY
READY · 5PM4 ANSWERS

PICKUP.

Free within 4 mi on $35+ orders. Schedule via website or text.

  • Q · 01

How does pickup + delivery work?

Schedule a slot via text or our website. We come to you in a 4-mi radius; orders $35+ are free, smaller orders $7. Doorman buildings: leave with concierge or we knock.

  • Q · 02

Do you go beyond the 4-mile zone?

Routes go up to 8 mi for $7 / pickup. Beyond that, we partner with a courier; price varies. Email helen@quickline-cleaners.com for a quote.

  • Q · 03

Is there a recurring pickup service?

Yes — most popular for laundered shirt subscriptions. Set up a weekly pickup window (15-min slot); we pick up + deliver back same week. No fee on $35+ orders.

  • Q · 04

    What if I'm not home?

Most customers leave a Quickline bag at the door / with the doorman. We pick up + leave the cleaned items hanging on the door (or with concierge). Apartment buildings often have a building program.

#00703STAINS + DAMAGE
READY · 5PM4 ANSWERS

STAINS.

Honest beats expensive. We tell you before we charge.

  • Q · 01

What if you can't get the stain out?

We tell you before we charge. If we can't remove a stain, no cleaning charge for that item. Honest beats expensive — and we've been in business 22 years on that policy.

  • Q · 02

    What's your damage policy?

If we damage your garment, we replace it at retail or repair (your choice — no deductible). Our track record: ~3 damaged per 1,000 cleanings. We've replaced about 30 garments in 22 years; all on the spot, no insurance run-around.

  • Q · 03

    Lost items?

Has happened twice in 22 years. Both times we paid retail value with receipts. Our retention is the reputation, not the policy.

  • Q · 04

    What stains do you decline?

Set blood on silk, ink on cashmere, food on raw silk that's been there a week. We'll tell you before we charge — sometimes we'll suggest a specialty restoration place if it's worth attempting.

#00704SUSTAINABILITY + ALLERGIES
READY · 5PM4 ANSWERS

SUSTAINABILITY.

GreenEarth-certified, no PERC, hypoallergenic on request.

  • Q · 01

    Are you actually eco-friendly?

GreenEarth-certified since 2014. Silicone-based liquid (D5) instead of PERC — no toxic chemicals, no chemical smell. EPA-recognized. We refresh the certification annually with chemistry-test results.

  • Q · 02

    Allergies + sensitivities?

GreenEarth eco-process — no PERC, no chemical smell. Hypoallergenic detergent on request. Tell us at intake; we note on your file. Several customers have been with us specifically because they react to PERC.

  • Q · 03

What about the bags + hangers?

We collect + reuse Quickline-branded bags for regulars. Hangers we collect at pickup — bring them back any time. About 70% of our hangers are recycled in-house through this program.

  • Q · 04

    What about specialty fabrics?

GreenEarth handles silk, wool, cashmere, and most specialty fabrics safely. We hand-spot before any process. Vintage textiles get a separate intake decision; we may decline rather than risk damage.

#00705SPECIALTY · WEDDING + RESTORATION
READY · 5PM4 ANSWERS

SPECIALTY.
wedding + restoration

Wedding dresses, vintage textiles, restoration projects.

  • Q · 01

    Wedding dress preservation?

$145 standard; museum-quality boxing $245. 4 — 6 week turn (longer if heavily beaded). We've done about 200; references on request. Helen does the intake personally — we won't quote without seeing the dress.

  • Q · 02

Do you take vintage / heirloom items?

Yes — but we look at them first before we quote. Some items we'll decline (extreme fragility, set damage) rather than risk further harm. Helen has 26 years of experience with vintage textiles; she's the bench expert.

  • Q · 03

    Bridesmaid dresses + formal alterations?

Yes — Helen runs the bench. Standard alteration $35 — $95; multi-step formal $145+. Book 4 — 6 weeks ahead in spring + summer (peak wedding season). Walk-ins fine in winter.

  • Q · 04

    Estate clothing / restoration?

Yes — quoted on intake. Multi-step process for delicate items. We'll send you a written paragraph on how we'll handle it before we touch anything. Average estate-clothing cleaning $45 — $185 per piece.
