Consignment & acquisition

Tell us about your motor car

We buy outright and we consign — quietly, at fair value, with the history handled as carefully as the metal. Four short steps; our registrar replies within two working days.

Consignment enquiry form

  1. 01 The motor car
  2. 02 Its history
  3. 03 Photographs
  4. 04 About you

First, the motor car itself

Please enter a year between 1885 and 2001.

Please tell us the marque.

Please tell us the model.

Now, its story

Rough notes are fine — our registrar will do the digging.

A few lines of history help us take the next step.

Documents you hold (tick all that apply)

Photographs — no upload needed yet

Once we have reviewed your details, our registrar replies with a short photo request by email. Nothing formal — a telephone camera in open shade beats a studio every time. This is what we will ask for:

  • All four corners, three-quarter angles, in open shade
  • Straight-on profile, both sides
  • Interior: seats, dash, headlining, boot
  • Engine bay, cold, from both sides
  • Underside if possible — sills, floors, chassis rails
  • The honest bits: stone chips, bubbles, tears, weeps
  • The paperwork itself — logbooks, invoices, records

That link does not look right — it should start with http(s)://.

Lastly, you

Please tell us your name.

Please enter a valid email address.

What are you weighing?

Please choose one — "advice first" is a perfectly good answer.

What happens after you press send

  1. 01

    Within two days

Our registrar reviews your notes, checks what the archives hold on the car, and replies with an honest first read on value and interest.

  2. 02

    If we proceed

The car visits our ramp for the 187-point inspection — or we come to it. You receive the full report either way, no strings.

  3. 03

    Offer or consign

We make an outright offer, or agree a consignment: our presentation, our dossier work, an agreed net figure to you, no sale no fee.
