Sell us yours
Let us help with your sale
Discreet brokerage, direct purchase, or auction-house alternative. We’ve handled estate sales, divorces, business dissolutions, and routine collection rotations. Confidential, professional, and structured for sophisticated sellers.
Three paths to sale
What works for your situation
Direct purchase by Ferrobello
We acquire your vehicle outright. Funds in 2-4 weeks. Best for: known-buyer-base vehicles, vehicles fitting our inventory needs, sellers wanting quick clean transactions.
Discreet consignment
We sell on your behalf. Vehicle remains in your name until sale. 6-10% transaction fee on completed sale. Best for: vehicles requiring time to find right buyer, premium-priced vehicles, sellers wanting maximum realization.
Discreet brokerage between known parties
We connect your vehicle with a specific qualified buyer (often from our existing relationships). Confidential. 8-10% transaction fee. Best for: vehicles unsuited to public listing, very high-value vehicles, urgent confidentiality needs.
Auction-house alternative
If auction is the right path, we recommend specific auction houses + advise on timing + reserve pricing + presentation. We don’t take a fee for auction-house referrals. Sometimes auction is the right answer.
Restoration-then-sell pathway
For #4 + #5 condition vehicles, we coordinate restoration through our partner network + sell post-restoration. Higher net realization than as-is sale. Capital required for restoration; structured arrangements available.
Estate planning + tax-favored sales
For sellers with estate planning needs (children, charity, capital gains management). We work with your tax + estate attorneys. Multi-vehicle dispersals across timeline structured for tax efficiency.

- 4Path forward + offerWe’ll recommend direct purchase, consignment, brokerage, or auction-house. Offer + terms presented. You decide. Most sellers complete transactions in 6-16 weeks of initial submission.
What we look for
Vehicles that fit Ferrobello
Italian, British, German specialty
Ferrari, Maserati, Lancia, Alfa Romeo, Aston Martin, Jaguar, Bentley, Rolls-Royce, Porsche, Mercedes, BMW M-cars. Our specialty + buyer base. Best fit for these makes.
Pre-war coachwork specials
Bugatti, Delahaye, Hispano-Suiza, Talbot-Lago, Duesenberg. Selectively acquired through our European + American networks. Discreet brokerage typical.
Concours-quality + excellent + driver-quality
#1, #2, #3 condition typically. Some #4 vehicles where restoration partnership makes economic sense. Below #4 we usually decline; not our specialty.
Authenticated provenance
Documented ownership chain, matching numbers (or honestly disclosed corrected numbers), service records, concours appearances if applicable. We can help reconstruct partial provenance through research.
Above $50k typical price range
Below $50k typically not economic for our brokerage model + buyer base. Exception: youngtimer specialty (manual-transmission Porsches, M3s, F355s) where established collectibility supports lower prices.
What we typically decline
Modern vehicles still under manufacturer warranty, project vehicles requiring full restoration without partnership arrangement, salvage-titled vehicles, replicas without full disclosure. Honest in declining; we’ll explain.
Estate sale handling
When circumstances require care
Confidential conversation
Initial conversation entirely confidential. We’ve handled difficult circumstances — recent loss, divorce, business dissolution, illness. We’re experienced + discreet. Our role is service, not closing pressure.
Multi-vehicle estate dispersal
Some collections include 3-50+ vehicles. We can structure phased sales over 1-3 years to optimize realization + tax efficiency. Coordinated with estate attorneys + financial advisors.
Working with executors + heirs
Estate executors with little vehicle knowledge — we’ll patiently explain process + market dynamics + decision points. Estate attorneys collaborate well with our team. Fair, transparent.
Timing flexibility
Some sellers need fast (estate liquidation timing), some can wait (privacy, market timing). We work both. Faster = direct purchase typical; slower = consignment/brokerage typical.
Charitable donations
Some sellers donate vehicles to charity (museums, automotive education programs, scholarship-funding nonprofits). We coordinate. Tax-favored. Recipient evaluation + receipt + documentation handled.
Reference + experience
We’ve handled estate sales for ~30+ deceased collectors + 12+ business dissolutions + 5+ divorces. References available from estate attorneys + heirs we’ve worked with. Sensitive work; we treat it as such.
Submit your vehicle
We respond within 24 business hours
Tell us about your vehicle + situation. Initial conversation is confidential. No obligation to proceed beyond that conversation.
Selling questions
What sellers ask
- Auction wins if: very high-profile vehicle (250 GTO, Le Mans-class significance), aggressive marketing wanted, market timing favorable. Private wins if: confidentiality matters, vehicle requires time + relationship to find right buyer, avoiding auction premium. We’ll give honest opinion + recommend auction house if right.
