Why Ferrobello

What separates serious specialty

Authenticated provenance, every vehicle
Documented chassis numbers, matching numbers verified, history files audited. FIVA + ASCM authentication standards. Where provenance is uncertain, we say so — even if it costs us the sale.
Discreet brokerage, public collection
Half our inventory is publicly displayed. The other half is brokered discreetly between known collectors. Both serve our clients — what fits is what we present to you.
Concours preparation included
Vehicles destined for Pebble Beach, Amelia Island, or Goodwood receive concours-grade preparation through our preferred restoration partners. Class wins on 14 of our delivered vehicles since 2011.
Acquisition advisory beyond inventory
Looking for a vehicle we don’t have? We’ll find it. Our network of European + American collectors, restorers, and auction-house contacts has sourced acquisitions in 14 countries.
Climate-controlled long-term storage
Westchester facility — 22,000 sq ft, climate + humidity controlled, secure 24/7. Storage available for clients who don’t want vehicles in their primary residence. $850-$1,800/month per vehicle.
Resale + estate planning advisory
Eventually every collector becomes a seller. We provide market analysis, restoration vs. sell-as-is guidance, and estate planning consultation. Many client relationships span 10-20+ years.
The Ferrobello process

From inquiry to delivery

  1. 1
    Initial conversation
Phone or in-person introduction. Discuss your collecting interests, current collection, ownership goals. No catalog presented yet — we listen first. Typically 45-90 minutes.
  2. 2
    Curated presentation
We present 3-7 vehicles aligned with your interests + budget. Some from current inventory; some from our trusted dealer + restorer network. Detailed history files + condition reports included.
  3. 3
    Inspection + provenance review
Mutually agreed inspection by your specialist or ours. Provenance documents shared in full. Concours pedigree, FIVA documentation, matching numbers verified before any deposit.
  4. 4
    Acquisition + delivery
Negotiation handled discreetly. Title + funds transferred via approved escrow. Domestic delivery via enclosed transport included; international shipping coordinated. Most transactions complete in 4-8 weeks.

What collectors say

I’ve worked with Ferrobello for eight years and four acquisitions. Marco’s honesty about a vehicle’s flaws cost him a sale once — and earned my permanent loyalty. The provenance work alone justifies their fee.

Sold an Aston DB5 through Ferrobello’s discreet brokerage. The buyer found me, the price was honest, the transaction was confidential. Could not be more different from my prior auction-house experience.

Ferrobello sourced a Lancia Aurelia from Italy that I’d been searching for for 3 years. They negotiated, authenticated, and shipped it. The day-of-delivery experience was something I’ll remember for life.

What new clients ask

  • Both. Approximately half our inventory is owned by Ferrobello (we acquired it, prepared it, and offer it for sale). The other half is consigned or brokered between collectors. The arrangement is disclosed for every vehicle.
