The motor car

Seventies Japanese hardtops are one of the fastest-growing corners of the collector market, and clean ones are getting hard to find. This two-door has a straight, dry body, a sound original interior and a lowered stance with deep-dish wheels added by its last owner.

We have requested the maker's archive extract to confirm its exact factory specification. Until it arrives we list the car by type rather than by badge. That is how we work: no claim goes in a description before the paperwork backs it up.

Restoration & condition

  • Lowered on adjustable period-style suspension; the original springs and dampers come with the car
  • Deep-dish alloy wheels fitted; original steel wheels and hubcaps included
  • Repainted orange in the 2010s; original colour to be confirmed by the archive extract
  • Brake hydraulics renewed in our workshop, 2026
  • Underside dry and solid; photographs of every known rust point are in the file

Graded Grade III: Sympathetic recommissioning under the Ferrobello grading standard. An honest car returned to full running order with as little change as possible. Sound original finishes are kept; brakes, fuel system and safety items are renewed.
