The motor car

The Giulietta Sprint is one of the great small coupés, and the Veloce added the parts that matter: twin Weber carburettors, higher compression and a freer exhaust. This car has just come out of a restoration in its original Rosso Alfa, photographed at every stage.

The 1,290 cc twin-cam is a masterpiece in miniature. It spins to its redline with an appetite that shames engines three times its size. Restored for the road rather than the lawn, it is meant to be driven often.

Restoration & condition

  • Restoration completed 2025 and photographed at every stage; the album is in the file
  • Veloce engine rebuilt with correct twin Webers; dyno sheet included
  • Bare-metal repaint in Rosso Alfa; new brightwork, chrome wing mirrors and glass seals
  • Interior retrimmed in red to the original Veloce pattern
  • Refurbished steel wheels with period-style tyres

Graded Grade I: Concours restoration under the Ferrobello grading standard. A recent, documented nut-and-bolt restoration finished to show standard. Finishes, fasteners and date codes are checked against factory records.
