1965 Jaguar E-Type Series 1 4.2 Coupé

If one shape defines the Golden Age it is the Series 1 fixed-head coupé, and the 4.2 is the one to have: the same pure line with a better gearbox, better brakes and more torque. This car wears Opalescent Dark Blue over light grey leather and sits on Dunlop-pattern steel wheels with knock-off spinners.

It was restored in 2009 and has been used as intended since: club tours, a few long rallies and regular servicing. The paint has a little honest wear at the edges; the mechanicals are strong. It is a driver's E-Type, priced like one, with a full history file.

Graded Grade II: Older restoration, maturing under the Ferrobello grading standard. A good restoration that has settled in. Paint and leather have mellowed a little, and the mechanicals have been kept up properly. Often the most rewarding grade to own and drive.
