The experience

Buying a classic should feel like the ownership will

Unhurried, transparent and documented at every step. This is how a motor car leaves Ferrobello — whether you visit the showroom weekly or buy from three time zones away.

Six steps, no surprises

  1. 01

    The conversation

Every purchase begins with a talk, not a test drive. What will the car do in your life — shows, Sunday mornings, a continental tour? Twenty minutes on the telephone or over coffee at the showroom saves months of looking at the wrong cars.

  2. 02

    The dossier, before the car

We send the full history file first: provenance chain, inspection report, restoration records, paint-depth survey and current photographs. You should know a car completely before you stand next to it — the metal should only ever confirm the paperwork.

  3. 03

    The private viewing

Viewings are by appointment and unhurried — the car on the ramp with panels open, cold start, and a road run on our loop through the hills above Kingsfield. Bring your specialist, your family, or nobody at all.

  4. 04

    Independent inspection, welcomed

Any inspector you choose is welcome on our ramp with our tools and our time. We would rather lose a sale than have a car leave here ahead of a question it could not answer.

  5. 05

    Paperwork & payment, properly

Funds move through escrow, title and export paperwork are handled by us, and the provenance dossier transfers to you as a bound archive — original documents where we hold them, certified copies where the archive must stay whole.

  6. 06

    Delivery & the first month

Enclosed, insured transport to your door — across the country or across an ocean. Thirty days in, we check in: a first-service inspection at our workshop or a trusted specialist near you, on us.

Every car is presented on the ramp, panels open, cold — as it should be.

The showroom

By appointment, never by pressure

14 Coachworks Row, Kingsfield is a working building, not a stage: fifteen cars, the workshop bays behind glass, and the archive room where every dossier lives. Appointments run ninety minutes and are yours alone — no other parties, no hovering.

Buying from afar? We film cold starts and full walkarounds on request, drive the car on camera, and host live video inspections from the ramp. A third of our cars leave for owners who first see them in person on delivery day.

What we stand behind

The dossier is the warranty

Every line of a Ferrobello description is matched to a document in the car's file. If we cannot prove a claim, we do not print it.

Nothing hidden under paint

Paint-depth readings on every panel, photographs of every known trouble spot, and structural findings disclosed in writing before you commit.

Seven days to be certain

If an independent re-inspection in the first week after delivery contradicts our report, the car comes back at our cost. It has happened once in twenty-two years.
