Patch test and cautions

A small number of people get a warm, flushed feeling from niacinamide. Patch test first, and if it happens, use it every other day.

Try it on a small spot behind the ear or on the inner arm once a day for three days. If you see redness, itching or swelling, wash it off and stop using it. A patch test lowers the odds of a reaction but does not rule one out.
