About this piece

Why it's built this way

Two tables that behave like one when you need floor space and like two when people come over. The tops are 25 mm solid oak with a soft-radius edge; the smaller round table slides fully under the oval.

Finished with a hardwax oil that can be spot-repaired at home: sand lightly, re-oil, done.

Details

  • 25 mm solid-oak tops, soft-radius edge
  • Hardwax-oil finish, home-repairable
  • Legs attach with threaded inserts, so assembly takes 10 minutes

Care

  • Wipe with a damp cloth; dry immediately
  • Re-oil the top once a year
  • Use coasters under hot cups

Beautiful, but darker than my screen showed

The quality is excellent and the small table slides right under the big one. The smoked oak is a lot darker in person than it looked on my laptop, closer to coffee than to honey. I kept them, but order a sample first.
