Member stories
What members tell Nico, good and less good.
We ask members once, about six months in, what's working and what isn't. We publish the specific answers, including the complaints. Members can ask us to take theirs down at any time.

“I took two community-studio classes and still couldn't center. The centering unit broke it into steps I could practise at home, and by about week five I stopped dreading it.”
Priya K. · Columbus, Ohio

-
“I mostly watch replays on Sunday mornings with coffee. It's the cheapest tier and it still feels like a lot.”
Dale M. · Halifax, Nova Scotia
Library member, 8 months
-
“Glaze clinic has saved me a lot of ruined pots. Nico explains why a glaze crawled instead of telling you to buy a different one.”
Ana R. · Tucson, Arizona
Studio member, 2 years
-
“Live sessions land around midnight for me, so I live on replays. They're always up within two days, but I do miss being in the chat.”
Ben O. · Leeds, UK
Library member, 5 months
-
“The monthly call is twenty minutes and it's the most useful twenty minutes of my month. He looks at the pot I actually made, not a perfect one.”
Grace L. · Portland, Oregon
Mentorship member, 10 months
-
“I paused over the summer when our studio closed. Two clicks to pause, two clicks to come back. No guilt emails.”
Sam T. · Denver, Colorado
Studio member, 6 months
-
“The handbuilding course is perfect for an apartment. My kitchen table is now permanently covered in canvas.”
Marta W. · Toronto, Ontario
Library member, 3 months
-
“Saturday crit is gentle but honest. Nobody piles on, and you only get critique when you ask for it.”
Joel P. · Asheville, North Carolina
Studio member, 1 year
