A hygiene visit at Polished is quiet, methodical, and honest. Your hygienist scales away tartar your brush can't reach, polishes, and screens your gums — the early-warning system for almost everything that goes wrong in a mouth. Then a dentist checks in, reviews anything the exam or X-rays flagged, and tells you plainly what matters and what can wait.
We schedule hygiene by what your gums actually need, not by a template. Some people genuinely need 40 minutes twice a year; some need an hour every four months for a while. We'll tell you which you are, and why — and the price follows the time, nothing else.

Step by step, no surprises

Catch-up + screening
Anything changed — sensitivity, bleeding, grinding? We check the soft tissue and gum pockets first.

Scale + polish
Ultrasonic and hand scaling to lift deposits, then a polish. Numbing gel is always on offer — you don't have to earn it.

Exam + X-rays when due
A dentist reviews your mouth and any imaging. X-rays only on the schedule your risk actually calls for.
