Built for kids, run for parents
Kite Hill started with a simple idea: if a parent understands every step, the child usually feels calmer too. So we explain, we show, and we put things in writing.
Our story
Dr. Hannah Wexler spent two years in pediatric dental training watching the same thing happen. Kids did better when their parents were close, and parents relaxed when someone took five minutes to explain.
She opened Kite Hill in 2014 with three chairs, one hygienist and a rule that still holds: parents are welcome in every room, at every visit. The name comes from the hill behind her childhood home, where her family flew kites every spring.
Today we are a team of seven, still in one office, still booking little ones in the morning and still writing the plan down so you can read it at home.

Four things we never skip
-
Parents stay in the room
Every room, every visit, if you want to. You see what we see and hear what we say.
-
Tell, show, then do
We name each tool, let your child touch it, then use it. No surprises, no scolding.
-
Options and prices in writing
If your child needs treatment, you get the choices and the costs on paper before anything starts.
-
Short, kind, on time
Little ones get short visits early in the day. We run on time so school pickup still works.
Inside the office
Small touches that make a big difference to a nervous four-year-old.
-
A play corner, not a waiting room
Books, a puzzle wall and a low bench. Hellos happen here, before anyone sees a chair.
-
Shows on the ceiling
Every room has a screen above the chair. Kids pick a show; parents pick the volume.
-
A quiet room
Dimmable lights, softer sounds and a weighted blanket for kids who need things calmer.
-
Room for the family
Every room fits a parent chair and a stroller. Siblings can sit in and watch.

Out in the neighborhood
Each spring our hygienists visit local preschools with a giant toothbrush and a puppet with very big teeth. In the fall we fill kindergarten dental forms the same day, so back-to-school paperwork is one less thing on your list.
Come see the office first
Any child can come in for a short hello before their first visit: sit in the chair, meet the team and leave on a good note. Just ask when you book.
