Everything you need between visits.
The patient portal, records release, prescription refills, and prep guides for every kind of visit. If something isn't here, we'd rather you called than guessed.

Four things most patients want.
Patient portal
Send Dr. Voss a direct message, view your test results, request prescription refills, and download every visit note. Replies typically within one business day.
Records release
Authorize us to obtain prior records from another provider, or send your Lakeshore records to one. Single page, sent securely.
Prescription refills
Most refill requests are handled within four business hours. Use the portal — phone refills add a day because we have to call you back.
Refer a patient
If you're a primary care physician or another specialist, send a referral with our HIPAA-secure form. Most consults scheduled within two weeks.
The short prep guide we wish we'd written sooner.
Three checklists. None of them is long. All of them help us help you.
Before your first visit
- List every medication you take — name, dose, and how often. Include over-the-counter and supplements.
- Write down the three questions you most want to ask. Bring them on paper. We'll work through them together.
- If you have prior cardiology records and we haven't requested them, bring whatever you have. We'd rather have too much than too little.
- Wear a top that's easy to change out of for ECG and echo.
Before a procedure
- We send a written prep sheet ten days ahead. Read it twice. Call if anything is unclear.
- Most procedures require fasting after midnight — we'll confirm in writing.
- Bring a ride home. Even local-anesthesia procedures usually involve sedation.
- Bring a list of every medication, including blood thinners, you take. Some need to pause; some don't.
After a procedure
- Sophie, our lead nurse, calls within 48 hours of every procedure to check on you.
- 30-day clinic follow-up is mandatory and will be scheduled before you leave the hospital.
- Use the portal for any questions in between — we read them all.
- If something feels wrong outside business hours, call our after-hours line. A real cardiologist takes that call, not a service.

The most under-prescribed cardiology medicine.
Twelve weeks of supervised exercise + education after a heart event. The data on outcomes is excellent. Most insurance covers it. Almost nobody enrolls. We do — every patient who's eligible, with a referral that goes out the day of discharge.
- We refer to Cleveland Clinic's cardiac rehab program directly from our office.
- Insurance authorization handled before your first session.
- Sophie, our lead nurse, follows up at week 4 and week 12 to check progress.
