First — is any of this happening?

These aren't "urgent visit" problems. They're emergencies, and a phone is faster than any booking form.

• Trouble breathing, choking, or nonstop coughing
• Collapse, or unable to stand or walk
• Retching without bringing anything up — especially large, deep-chested dogs
• A male cat straining to pee or crying in the litter box
• Suspected poison: chocolate, xylitol gum, grapes or raisins, lilies (cats), rodenticide, human medications
• Hit by a car, a fall, or any major trauma — even if they seem fine
• A seizure lasting more than two minutes, or several in one day
• Bleeding that doesn't stop with gentle pressure
• Trouble giving birth — active straining for 30+ minutes with no puppy or kitten
• Eye injuries, or a suddenly bulging or painful eye
