Prices before procedures
Exam and vaccine fees are published on this site, and anything bigger gets a written estimate before we start. You'll never meet a number for the first time at the front desk.
Ottawa · dogs, cats + small mammals
Cedar Hollow is a neighbourhood veterinary clinic built around three unfashionable ideas: published prices, unhurried appointments, and telling you the truth about what your pet does (and doesn't) need.
How we practise
Exam and vaccine fees are published on this site, and anything bigger gets a written estimate before we start. You'll never meet a number for the first time at the front desk.
Thirty minutes is our standard visit. That's long enough to examine your pet properly and still answer the question you were saving for the end.
A cat-only exam room, treats everywhere, non-slip tables, and handling that goes at your pet's speed. Anxious pets can get pre-visit medication. Just ask.

Rabbits + small pets
Rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, and hamsters, seen by vets who know them.

Wellness plans
The Foundations plan bundles a year of exams, core vaccines, and parasite screening for $45 a month. The same care costs about $638 bought visit by visit. The math is published, so you can check it against our fee table. There's a second tier built just for seniors.
The people
Reviews
Pickle usually hides in her carrier for the whole visit. Dr. Raman sat on the floor and let her come out on her own. First vet trip in years with no hissing from either of us.
They called mid-cleaning to say one tooth needed to come out and gave me the exact price before doing it. The final bill matched the estimate to the dollar.
Called at 8 a.m. because Lucy was limping badly. She was seen by ten, X-rays done in-house, and we went home with a plan and a follow-up call booked.
