Diagnostics + lab
In-house bloodwork, digital X-ray, and ultrasound mean most answers arrive the same day, often within the hour for sick pets. When a case needs a specialist's eyes, we send images to a board-certified radiologist and tell you exactly what that costs first.

How it works
What happens, step by step.
-
Pick the right test
We only suggest a test when the answer could change your pet's care. We tell you why, and what it costs.
-
Sample or images
A quick blood draw, a urine sample, or X-rays. Most pets stay with a technician for just a few minutes.
-
Results
In-house blood results often come back within the hour. Specialist reads take one to two days.
-
What it means
We explain the results in plain words, with a copy for your records, and the next steps if any.
Who you'll see
Led by one vet.
Questions we hear
Fair questions, plain answers.
Why bloodwork before anaesthesia?
It checks the liver and kidneys, which process anaesthetic drugs, and can spot problems that change our drug plan. We strongly suggest it for seniors and pets with health issues, and we'll explain if it's optional for yours.
Will I get a copy of the results?
Always. You get a copy by email, and we note anything to watch for at the next visit.
