Why our prices are painted inside the truck
In 2019 Marcus Bell cleared out his late father's garage and collected three quotes: 'depends what we find', 'probably three to five hundred', and 'we'll sort it out after'. Fairload exists so nobody in the Triangle hears those sentences again.

One table, painted twice
That first week Marcus wrote the eight-fraction price table — and painted it inside the box of a rented truck so the customer and the crew were looking at the same numbers. Seven years later there are two trucks, four full-timers, and the same table: on the website, in the box, on the invoice.
- Nobody is paid by upsell — crews earn the same on a ⅛ as a full truck
