Case results
Example outcomes, told plainly. No dollar figures, and not only the wins. A firm that only shows its best results is not telling you how cases really go.

Section 01: Example outcomes
Six files, six different endings.
Each example says what happened, how long it took, and what we learned. The details are invented for this demo site.

FILE 001 DevicesResolved
Hip implant, revision surgery
Example outcome · About 3 years
The client joined a group settlement program after her revision surgery. Her share was set by a points scale based on the surgery and her recovery. The terms are confidential.
What it taught usThe implant sticker page from her first surgery decided which program she could join.
-
FILE 002 ProductsResolved
Pressure cooker burns
Example outcome · About 18 months
Settled before trial after our engineer's testing showed the lid lock could open while the cooker still held pressure. The terms are confidential.
What it taught usThe client kept the cooker in a garbage bag in her garage. That is why there was a case.
-
FILE 003 Toxic exposureLost at trial
Solvent exposure, kidney illness
Example outcome · About 4 years
The jury found the work records did not show enough contact with the solvent. We had told the client it was a close case. He chose a trial over a smaller offer, which was his right.
What it taught usExposure cases are won or lost on how well you can prove the years. We now start record requests on day one.
-
FILE 004 DrugsDeclined after review
Heartburn medication, cancer diagnosis
Example outcome · 9 days
The pharmacy history showed the client began taking the medication after his diagnosis. We explained why in writing, returned his records, and suggested questions for his oncologist.
What it taught usAn honest no is part of the job. It is most of what we do.
-
FILE 005 VehiclesPartly resolved
Seat belt release in a rollover
Example outcome · About 2 years
The defect claim against the belt maker was dismissed. A claim against a repair shop that had replaced the buckle with a non-original part was settled for a modest amount that covered medical bills and lost pay.
What it taught usSometimes the defect is real but the maker is not the one responsible.
-
FILE 006 DevicesStill pending
Hernia mesh, removal surgery
Example outcome · 4 years and counting
This case is part of a large MDL that is still in pretrial proceedings. The client gets a written update from us every quarter, even when nothing has changed.
What it taught usGroup cases are slow. We say so before anyone signs.
Why we show the losses
Because you are deciding whether to spend years of your life on a case. You deserve to know that cases are lost, declined and delayed, and what we do when that happens.
