Pricing

Per tech, per month. That's the whole model.

No contracts, no setup fee, no per-invoice tolls. Office staff are free within your plan's seats. Add a tech when you hire, remove one when you don't — billing prorates either way.

Honest guidance: you probably don't need Pro until 5+ techs

Pro earns its price when route optimization saves real drive time across a fleet and job costing changes what work you take. Under five techs, those problems mostly don't exist yet — Crew is the right buy, and Starter is genuinely enough for an owner-operator. Upgrading later takes one click and your data comes with you, so buy the plan that fits the shop you have, not the one you're hoping for.

The math, in the open

Is it worth it? Run your numbers.

We count exactly two things: admin hours the software removes, and missed calls a fast text-back recovers. Both assumptions are shown and editable — and if your numbers say "keep the whiteboard," the calculator will say so too.

Your shop, roughly

People who get dispatched to jobs, including a working owner.

Admin hours = scheduling, invoicing, chasing payments, "where's my tech?" calls. Missed calls = rings that went to voicemail during business hours.

Our assumptions — poke at them

Your average ticket across service calls and installs.

What an admin hour costs you — wages + your evenings.

We say 60%, not 100% — some office work never dies.

With instant text-back. 25% is conservative; peak season runs higher.

Missed calls that become jobs

Net, per month

That's 12.8× what Crew costs. The math has room to be half wrong and still work.

Estimates, not promises — every number above is editable, and we left out the biggest maybe on purpose (tighter routing usually fits 1–2 more jobs per tech per week; we don't count what we can't guarantee).

Pricing questions

What counts as a 'tech'?

Anyone who gets dispatched to jobs. Office staff aren't techs — Starter includes 1 office seat, Crew includes 3, Pro is unlimited. An owner who runs calls AND the office counts once, as a tech.

Is there a contract?

No. Monthly plans cancel anytime from the billing page — the account stays readable for 30 days and your CSV export works forever. Annual plans simply pre-pay 12 months for roughly 17% off.

What does setup cost?

$0. Data import from spreadsheets or another app is free on every plan, and a real human does it with you on a screen-share. Most shops run their first live day within a week.

Do prices change as I add techs mid-month?

Adding a tech prorates for the remainder of the month; removing one credits the difference. You're never billed for an empty seat you removed.

What happens if I downgrade?

Nothing is deleted. Features above your new plan go read-only — a Pro membership agreement, for example, stops auto-scheduling but keeps its full history.

Card processing feels expensive. Can I pass fees to customers?

In most US states you can surcharge cards within legal caps, and FieldOps supports it — but we'll show you the rules for your state first. ACH at 1% (capped at $10) is usually the better answer for big invoices.

Still deciding? Bring us your numbers.

On the demo we'll run the calculator with your real week and tell you which plan fits — including "none yet," if that's the truth.
