Training, equipment and standards
Most of a good repair ends up hidden behind panels and paint. Here's what stands behind the parts you'll never see.
A note on this sample page. On a real shop's website, this page lists each certification the shop holds, with a link to verify it. This demo describes them in general terms and does not claim any real manufacturer or industry program.
Four things behind every repair
-
Training every year
- Each technician completes yearly industry training on new materials, welding and calibration
- Welders are retested on steel and aluminum on a regular schedule
- Our painters train with our paint supplier whenever the system changes
-
The maker's procedures, every time
- We look up the maker's published repair procedure for each car before we start
- Each step that the procedure requires is noted in your repair file
- Parts and welds follow what the maker specifies for your exact model
-
Equipment that matches the work
- Computerized measuring and a frame bench with several pulling towers
- Two heated downdraft paint booths with daylight color lamps
- A separate aluminum repair area, so steel dust can't contaminate it
- A level calibration bay with targets for driver-assist systems
-
A warranty in writing
- Written lifetime warranty on workmanship and paint, for as long as you own the car
- Parts carry their maker's warranty, which we handle for you
- If something isn't right, call us. We look at it at no charge
See it for yourself
Ask for your repair file
Every car leaves with a repair file. Most people never ask for it. You're welcome to, and we'll email you a copy the same day.
- The maker's repair procedures we followed
- Before and after measurement printouts, if structure was involved
- Pre-repair and post-repair scan reports
- Calibration reports for driver-assist systems
- Photos of welds and repairs that are hidden once panels go back on
Our warranty, in writing
Every repair comes with a written lifetime warranty. Here's exactly what it covers. If something isn't right, call us and we'll look at it at no charge.
Covered
- Our workmanship, for as long as you own the car
- Paint we applied: peeling, cracking, bubbling or loss of gloss
- Fit and finish of the panels we repaired or replaced
Not covered
- New damage from another collision, hail or vandalism
- Normal wear, like rock chips and car wash scratches
- Parts covered by their maker's warranty (we handle those claims for you)
