- 2Drop off + diagnosticDrop off at appointment time (or before via dropbox). We diagnose first — typically 1-2 hours. Written estimate via text + email with photos of issues.
- 3Approve work + get updatesReview estimate, approve via text or in person. We start work + send updates throughout. Photos of issues + completed work for your records.
- 4Pickup + warrantyPickup any time during business hours. Detailed work order, parts list, lifetime labor warranty paperwork. We’ll text when ready + send invoice via email.
Appointment types
What works for you
Standard appointment (most common)
Drop off morning, pickup afternoon or next day. Most maintenance + minor repairs. Same-day or next-day availability for most.
Express appointment (under 1 hour)
Walk-in or quick-scheduled. Oil changes, tire repairs, battery tests + replacements, simple diagnostics. Typically 30-60 minutes wait. Comfortable lounge area + free WiFi.
Major repair (multi-day)
Significant work like timing belts, transmission, head gasket. Drop off + we’ll have it 2-5 days. Loaner cars available for active customers ($35/day; free for warranty work).
After-hours dropoff
Drop off any time using our after-hours dropbox. Leave keys + completed dropoff form. We’ll start diagnostic next business day. Especially convenient for early-morning or late-night dropoff.
Pickup + delivery (limited)
Within 5 miles of shop. $25 each way. Useful when one vehicle is in shop + you need to keep schedule. Email service@ridgepointauto.com to arrange.
Fleet + commercial accounts
Local businesses with 3+ vehicles can establish fleet account. Net-30 billing, priority scheduling, dedicated point person. Email fleet@ridgepointauto.com.
What to bring
Streamline your appointment
Vehicle + keys
Obvious but worth mentioning. Bring vehicle to shop or dropoff at scheduled time. Spare key helpful (rare; we usually have access via locksmith).
Symptoms + history
Describe what’s wrong, when it happens, what you’ve noticed. ‘Makes a clunk when turning left’ is more useful than ‘something is wrong.’ Photos or videos of issue helpful.
Recent service records
If you have records from prior shop, bring them. Helps us understand vehicle history + avoid duplicating work. Email or paper printout both work.
Insurance info (for collision)
If repair is collision-related, bring insurance info. We work with most major insurers — State Farm, GEICO, Allstate, USAA, Progressive. Direct billing in most cases.
Warranty info (if applicable)
Manufacturer warranty? Aftermarket warranty? Bring documentation. We can often work with warranty companies + charge them directly. We’ll explain process.
Payment method
Credit card, debit card, check, cash. Synchrony CarCare credit available for financing. Most invoices paid at pickup; major repairs sometimes structured differently.

Where + how
Drive into the customer parking area (north side of building). Dropbox is to the right of the customer entrance. Slide envelope through slot.
What to include
Keys (in keychain or envelope). Completed dropoff form (in container by dropbox). Description of issue + your contact info. Vehicle parking note (where on lot).
When we'll start
Drop off any time. We’ll start diagnostic at 7am next business day (Mon-Fri) or 8am Saturday. Sunday dropoffs start Monday morning.
Status updates
We’ll text within 90 minutes of starting work. Diagnostic finding + estimate via text + email by 11am typical. You decide whether to proceed.
Pickup
Pick up during business hours. We’ll text when ready. Pickup payment + paperwork same as standard appointment.
Security + insurance
Lot is secured + monitored 24/7. We carry $1M comprehensive insurance on your vehicle while in our care. Vehicles parked in covered area when possible.

- Most issues: same-day or next-day. Major repairs requiring multiple days: 1-3 days out. We hold capacity for emergency repairs (won’t-start situations, brake failure). Faster availability than dealer in most cases.
