What our pricing includes
No surprise add-ons
Labor at $138/hour
Our shop labor rate. Lower than dealer ($165-$185/hr typical). Comparable to other ASE-certified independent shops in Phoenix metro.
Parts at fair markup
We mark parts up 15-30% over our cost. Compares favorably to dealer markup (40-60% typical) + chain repair shops (50-80% typical). Quality OEM or aftermarket — your choice.
Shop supplies — included in labor
Most shops add 6-10% ‘shop supplies’ fee on top of labor. We don’t. Shop supplies (rags, fluids for cleaning, small consumables) are built into our $138/hr labor rate.
Diagnostic fee — applied toward repair
$189 diagnostic fee for ‘something’s wrong’ appointments. Applied toward repair if you proceed. Refunded if no issue found. Honest.
Sales tax
Arizona state sales tax + Mesa city tax (8.3% combined) on parts. Labor is not taxed. Calculated transparently on every invoice.
Disposal + environmental fees
Used oil, filters, batteries, brake fluid, coolant disposed responsibly. $5-$15 environmental fee per service. We don’t hide this; we’d rather explain the responsibility.
