Tire rotation
Front and rear tires wear differently. Moving them on a set pattern every 8,000 to 10,000 km evens out the wear so the whole set lasts longer.

- You're in for an oil change or a seasonal swap anyway
- The front tires look more worn than the rears

- Tread depth measured at three points on each tire, written on your receipt
- Pressures set to your door placard, not the number on the sidewall

Staggered setups (wider tires in the back) can't be rotated front to back. We'll check and tell you instead of charging for it.

Tread at inside, middle and outside of each tire, noted before anything moves.

On the pattern for your drivetrain: forward cross, rearward cross, or front to back.

Set and torque
Pressures to the placard, lug nuts by hand to spec.

Depths and pressures on the receipt so you can see the trend next time.
Questions about rotation
Why does my car need a relearn after a rotation?
Some cars need to be told which sensor is now at which corner. Many learn on their own after a short drive. We only charge the $20 when your car truly needs the scan tool.
Can you rotate directional tires?
Yes, front to back on the same side. They can't cross sides without being remounted on the wheel.
